Stäläg 13 formed in Oxnard in the early 1980s. It was a pioneering band in the genre of music known as Nardcore. (Hardcore punk music that originated in Oxnard California.) The band continues to play punk shows and festivals.

FANG
(Punk hardcore – Berkely, USA)
Fang is an influential American hardcore punk band from the early East Bay punk rock scene, established in Berkeley, California, in 1980.
Among the leaders in the West Coast’s hardcore scene, Fang has influenced many bands and many high-profile bands have covered Fang material. Mudhoney, the Butthole Surfers, Metallica, and Nirvana all covered « The Money Will Roll Right In » and « I Wanna Be On TV » was covered by Green Day. Founding guitarist Tom Flynn’s distinct guitar playing has also influenced many followers, including those in the grunge genre. Kurt Cobain’s list of his top 50 albums had Landshark as his choice at number 6.

HOLY HOLSTER
(Spaghetti Punk Rock – Paris,FR)
« Tout a commencé au printemps 2008 par un après-midi de concert. Le vent glaçait les guitares saturées d’un groupe de merde comme on en fait beaucoup trop en cette époque académique de stars aseptisées au business ; d’ailleurs, aucun membre des futurs Holy Holster n’y était. Deux d’entre eux se trouvaient plus loin, à des kilomètres de là, assis sur les tabourets magnifiques d’un bar minable à discuter de monter un groupe de Punk’n’roll… Depuis ils ont chevauché sur toutes les routes de France, de squats bondés en saloons désertiques. Activiste du mouvement, ils ont survécu à des duels contres les hors la loi les plus recherchés, comme Demanted are go, The Avengers ou The Offenders… Toujours le barillet en poche, la guitare à la main, ils jouent leur punk rock spaghetti avec l’énergie des années 76 et ne doivent rien à leurs ancêtres. »
