SEXUAL PURITY
(Darkwave – Dnipro, UKR)
« Sexual Purity » is coldwave / darkwave duo from Ukraine . The band consists of Oleksii Donets (Music) and Anastasia Romanova (Vocal and Lyrics) and based in Dnipro. Inspired by the music of 80’s synth-pop and post-punk. The duo was formed in 2020 during the period of hard isolation . The main topics of the songs are mental condition in a veiled context with melodic rhythm of synth with dark and dismal pattern .
The music of « Sexual Purity » is imbued with their minimal and visceral concoction of hypnotic crashing percussive patterns, ominous bass tone vibrations, and frigid melodic synths to elicit obscure and cathartic dances, haunted by the sensual, distressed and emotionally bewitching atmospheric vocalizations, betwixt slithering tension and edgy wistfulness, floating in unwholesome descent into the afflictive and devastating boundaries of psychological struggles.

LILA EHJÄ
(Cold wave – Paris, FR)
Yö, le premier EP de Lila Ehjä, voit le jour en 2021 après des mois d’expérimentations dans une liberté totale, après quelques années passées au rôle de bassiste de Rance (black metal). Armée d’un looper, Lila développe en solitaire un univers électrique, hypnotique, et répétitif, parfois suspendu. La mélancolie, la nuit, le béton mouillé sont les effluves portées par les thématiques de son quotidien parisien.

NUITH
(Synth rock – Artificial crow – Paris, FR)
Nuith (synth-rock), est un duo fondé en 2021, composé des producers parisiens Fred Nout (chant lead, guitare/synthé, production), et Alexia Charoud (claviers, production, guitare, chant). Les morceaux de leur premier EP, « Ode to Beauty and Chaos » paru le 7 octobre 2022, développent une ambiance cosmique et occulte, servie par des synthés qui empruntent à la new-wave et des guitares tournées vers l’alternatif et l’indus. Sur scène, le duo propose un set mêlant puissance rock et envolées atmosphériques, les machines et claviers portant voix, guitares saturées et synthétiques.
