Diving into decades of electronica and crunchy sound effects, field recordings and animal sounds, blended with an infectious Latin influence, Californian duo abracadabra’s new album ‘shapes & colors’ shimmies with the charismatic energy of Lizzy Mercier Descloux, the dub hits of Scientist, and the idiosyncrasies of Deerhoof offering an ornate alternative to traditional guitar pop chord progressions as they layer danceable motifs.

Their lead single ‘talk talk’ was a hit among the folks at the BBC, making its way onto The 6 Music Playlist.
abracadabra hit the road earlier this year with their 5-piece live band, touring to SXSW before a series of dates in the UK supporting The Go! Team. They’re thrilled to hop across the pond again later this year, this time as a headliner with dates in the EU as well as the UK.

Le duo Monte Crystal est né sur les rives d’une pop Incisive et psychédélique .Inspiré d’Est en Ouest de Khruangbin ou encore Tame Impala à la différence près de la langue, en français dans le texte, pour rendre hommage aux origines du duo parisien. Claviers vaporeux, basses rondes, et guitares floydiennes, le tout au service d’un groove planant, aux touches funk et rock en alternance pour ne pas choisir.

GARÇON VELOURS (20h30)

Garçon Velours est un crooner moderne à la voix envoûtante. Il a été biberonné à la Soul américaine avant de se nourrir de Chanson française. Garçon Velours est né de la volonté du frontman de Zedmanest (indie-rock) de chanter en français.
Avec sa profonde voix de velours, il revisite les sonorités vintage de manière élégante. Dans ses textes, il parle d’amour sans faire de chansons d’amour; ou encore de mélancolie sans faire de chansons déprimantes.
Début 2023, il signe chez Moon Label, basé à Bordeaux.
