EERIE WANDA

Eerie Wanda is the brainchild of audio and visual artist Marina Tadic. Born to Croatian parents in the former Yugoslavia.
Due to war, Marina’s parents sought asylum in the Netherlands – where she grew up and still resides.
In September ’22 Eerie Wanda will release Internal Radio, her third album and second for Joyful Noise.
In this new album, visual artist and musician Marina Tadic writes the songs, and is joined by her partner, Adam Harding (Dumb Numbers, Kidbug) and Kramer (Galaxie 500, Unrest, Ween, Daniel Johnston).
‘Internal Radio’ was recorded in Netherlands – the 11 songs sound like a more experimental, otherwordly, serious grown-up affair, venturing into sensitivity emotional territory. The intimate, personal songs here reflect the solitude many of us have felt these past few years, recalling artists such as Lida Husik and Edith Frost.
On Internal Radio, Marina wanted to tune in to her deepest feelings and create something which sounded new to her. Allowing herself to confront darker emotions , previously pushed aside, yelded many of the songs.

SIMONE D’OPALE
(Pop poétique – Playground Records – Nantes, FR)
Pop poétique, tantôt sombre, tantôt lumineux, Simone d’Opale dépeint des paysages oniriques. La musique y est à la fois souriante, rythmée et mélancolique. Elle nous immerge dans une écriture au français amphibie. Île-nénuphar, le premier EP du groupe, est sorti le 20 mai 2022. Il questionne tant l’amour, que le monde mercantile, avec adresse, et de façon énigmatique

BLEU COUARD
(Indie folk – Paris, FR)
Bleu Couard c’est des histoires d’eau, de petites peurs, de grands espaces nord-américains alors qu’on ne va pas vraiment plus loin que des ruelles en France. C’est des voix sombres et numériques qui disparaissent petit à petit, laissant la place aux petits soleils du soir ou du matin.
Indie-pop ou folk ? parfois même un peu disco, le projet Bleu Couard est né en 2019.
Aujourd’hui le groupe est composé de Thibaut Haas (guitare, chant) Corentin Billette (claviers), Romane Mialon (basse, bassiste du groupe Heu) et Timothée Garson (batterie, batteur du groupe Cosse).
