Emerging from Melbourne’s punk-rock underbelly in 2017, Moody Beaches have since cemented themselves as a must-watch live act and staple of the Australian indie punk scene, having shared stages with the likes of Magic Dirt, Screamfeeder, Dead Kennedys and Spiderbait.
Raw and often scathing, Moody Beaches channel the loud-quiet-loud dynamic of early Pixies and the harmony-driven vocal hooks of The Breeders.
Melding elements of post-punk and grunge, their thunderous riffs hit heavy while melodic vocal harmonies catch you with their urgent delivery.
Over 2023, Moody Beaches is on tour in support of their debut release Acid Ocean, a potent 10-track serve of harmony-driven and brooding, fuzzed-out anthems, described by NME Australia as “a searing, visceral record”

LA BILLY

La Billy est un groupe de pop rock parisien.
Le projet commence en 2017, par une chaude journée d’été. Félicia & Bruno se connaissent depuis plusieurs années. Elle chante, il est multi-instrumentiste. Ils écrivent, composent et jouent. La Billy naît de leur envie de diffuser leur musique et de porter le projet sur scène.
Leur musique se distingue par l’utilisation intelligente des codes de la pop. Les oreilles fines décèleront l’influence Gainsbourgienne, une basse puissante évoquant les Beatles et des voix hypnotisantes auxquelles se mélangent les nappes de synthé, comme un héritage de Melody’s Echo Chamber.
