(Grunge Garage Pop – Burger Records – Eindhoven, NL)

Playing a potent mix of sleazy #grunge and #powerpop perfection Mozes and the Firstborn hail from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The band started out in 2010 with Melle Dielesen on vocals, guitar and songwriting, Corto Blommaert on bass and Raven Aartsen on drums. Ernst-Jan van Doorn joined later on guitar.
In 2011 they released their first EP ‘I Got Skills’ which title track rather fast became the fan’s favorite.

The Californian label BURGER RECORDS released their self-titled debut album in 2014. Since then the band has embarked on international tours with #TheGrowlers, #UnknownMortalOrchestra and #TogetherPangea, crisscrossing the United States and Europe.
In 2016 the band released Great Pile of Nothing, a more introvert and mellow album. The past year Mozes and the Firstborn have been recording new tunes for their third full-length album, due for release in 2019. Embracing the feel of a mixtape, they blend their favorite styles and genres into an intriguing collection of songs. The band has worked with a number of producers, including producer/mixer Chris Coady
(Beach House, Slowdive) and Roland Cosio (together PANGEA, Fuzz).

«Au départ réunis en trio avec la volonté de former un énième groupe de punk virulent et sans concession, les Beach Bugs ont finalement opté pour les ritournelles pop composées sans prétention. Ils proposent un éventail de morceaux dépouillés de toutes fioritures, simples mais sincères, entre power pop, doo-wap et garage surf.»

«Deux poupées Barbie trash, poitrines dénudées, têtes à l’envers, cheveux hirsutes, la pochette de leur 1er EP éponyme, parle d’elle-même.
SOvOX est un concentré d’énergie british entre rock indé et pop punk dans l’esprit Slaves.
Les deux minots désinvoltes — un batteur torse nu exalté et un guitariste divinement insolent — rassemblent les générations autour d’un son énervé et de mélodies captivantes.
Absolument sauvages sur scène, ils portent haut ce 4 titres qui transpire le rock à l’état brut, avec des textes qui expulsent des histoires déçues de filles qu’ils ont aimées mais à qui ils disent « fuck ».»
