Melting Palms tear the earth open. A maelstrom of angelic melodies and broad soundscapes bleeds from the 4 amplifiers. Hope, longing, flight from the world – a whole life translated into sound waves. The music creates a maelstrom that invites the listener into a transformative space. Here you hear long echoing footsteps, past dusty genre sculptures, towards an idiosyncratic musical garb. Hardly any other band in Hamburg’s indie and psychedelic scene has undergone such an interesting development as the formation around Mike Krumhorn, Teresa Köberle, Johann Wientjes, Lukas Schulz and Tim Thiele.
