«Chris Farren is an indie-pop songwriter from hot-as-hell Naples, FL, now living in slightly less hot-as-hell Los Angeles, CA. His 2016 debut album « Can’t Die », is an indie power-pop rollercoaster, like Magnetic Fields’ « 69 Love Songs » turned up to 11. As a teenager, Farren formed his first band, indie punks « Fake Problems ». The group had some success and toured extensively for the better part of a decade until dissolving in 2013.

Completely disinterested in the whole “Punk singer goes acoustic” thing, he quickly acquainted himself with drum machines, synthesizers and other-worldly guitar pedals to create a bombastic live show completely executed and performed alone on stage.

When he’s not touring and recording under his own name, he brings his songs to longtime friend Jeff Rosenstock, who rips them apart and reassembles them into distorted power-pop bangers, pounds a big red « ANTARCTIGO VESPUCCI » stamp and sends them off to the pressing plant.»
