Au départ destiné à suivre les pas de son père\, le révérend James Leg décidera finalement de prêcher d’une autre façon. Il exhorte un blues massif et explosif\, dont tout le génie est d’être joué sur un piano électrique Fender Rhodes. Évidemment\, le son est souvent crasseux\, mais l’instrument dégage un groove phénoménal qui fait tout le charme de la musique de Leg.\nLe révérend James Leg prêche ainsi la bonne parole d’un rock estampillé seventies suintant le bourbon et le tabac froid. Le son est colossal\, et la voix du bonhomme sonne comme un torrent de gravier.
