Hailing from Argentina and stepping into the massive footprints of Post-Metal and -Rock bands such as Russian Circles\, MASERATI and Tuber while keepin’ it psychedelic\, since 2016 Iah is a cosmic force of interstellar proportions. Set to a balance of a heavy Post-Rock guitar sound\, progressive bass lines and a strong Desert Rock influence\, that blends well into its surroundings as a part of a richer sonic entity\, the versatility of Iah varies from ambient to hypnotic riffs\, from powerful explosions to peculiar details demonstrating a variety of influences as a result of the vast musical knowledge of this trio. Iah is one of those bands\, one can call a YouTube phenomenom. Their impressive\, self-titled debut in 2017 spread the word as much as possible on the platform\, while their sophomore and dynamic record ‘II’ (2018) fulfilled the high expectations. Le nom est sur toutes les lèvres : “Kurt Cobain est de retour ?” C’est forcément un peu assumé\, tant le son du trio rappelle de fait le Nirvana de Bleach\, quand le groupe n’était pas encore tout à fait grunge ni plus vraiment tout à fait punk.
