By melding an emo sensibility with an indie rock aesthetic Blvck Hippie creates tunes for getting unstuck\, existing weirdly\, and finding togetherness. Raw vocals pair with sticky guitar riffs\, heart-wrenching lyrics\, and heavy breakdowns to create a live show for all of us raging inside. Bercé par Pink Floyd\, AC/DC\, Hans Zimmer et Ennio Morricone\, révolutionne ses influences de sa touche personnelle\, un rock harmonique dont les envolées épiques font frissonner l’auditeur. Après avoir participé à plusieurs projets pour différents artistes et effilé ses cordes en studio\, JBV prend désormais les rênes en écrivant et produisant son premier EP.\nA travers cette nouvelle étape\, il développe son propre son\, tant à la production qu’en tant qu’artiste solo. Leur nom leur apparaît comme une évidence : Soft Michel est une ode à la mollesse des après midi de bistro et à la poésie des lentes discussions sans but. Avec des textes parfois lyriques et romantiques\, parfois insolents\, teintés d’alcool et d’autodérision\, Soft Michel réussit à faire s’embrasser la puissance des guitares\, la douceur des harmonies sucrées et la sensibilité retentissante du chanteur. Entre Indie rock et Brit Pop\, les influences du groupe vont de Oasis à Franz Ferdinand en passant par Margaritas Podridas.\nIls signent en 2022 avec le distributeur « Indépendant Digital ».\nEn 2023\, ils sortent deux live sessions : « Bottle of Soap » et « Willy Wonka ».
