«FRIGS est un groupe basé à Toronto qui associe la brutality avec l’émotion grunge de PJ Harvey, et l’immersif psyché-punk des début de Sonic Youth. Chaque membre du groupe apportant ses propres influences, FRIGS créé un son qui est difficile à cerner et une pression inébranlable. Mené par la force vocale de Bria, le groupe a acquis une réputation pour leurs performances scéniques hypnotiques et viscérales. Leurs lives sont basés sur l’instinct, où un grognement vocal peut se changer de façon inattendue en un murmure silencieux.»

(Post punk – Relaxomatic Vibrator Records – Paris,FR)

Né à Paris, le groupe a déjà quelques belles dates en France et en Europe à son actif. À mi-chemin en punk et cold-wave, le groupe envoie un son sans fioritures, hargneux et froid. Avec des influences telles que Crisis, Flux of Pink Indians, Crass, Warsaw ou Tunnelvision.
À cette occasion, leur premier EP «At Ease!» sera disponible sur place. Le groupe est composé d’un membre de Katzkab, et d’anciens de Maraboots, BA13 , In Memoria, Body Snatcher, Elvira and the Bats, Flathead et RU486.

The Portuguese four some who’ve known each other for a lifetime grew up together in a city north of Lisbon.
