DESCRIPTION:▬ Le Supersonic présente ▬ \n \n→ WHITE HILLS\n(Motorik Fuzz – Thrill Jockey – New York\, US) \n« New York’s critically acclaimed WHITE HILLS has garnered a reputation as one of the most prolific and exciting live bands of their generation since forming in 2006. WHITE HILLS (comprised of core members Ego Sensation and Dave W) has toured extensively throughout Europe and North America and appears in Jim Jarmusch’s film Only Lovers Left Alive.\nIn January of 2019\, the band took residence at Studio G in Greenpoint\, Brooklyn with Jeff Berner (guitarist of Psychic TV) behind the control desk to record their 12th album. Inspired by the drone and roar of machinery pulsing through New York City\, WHITE HILLS took to the streets to gather field recordings of drills\, jackhammers and other instruments of (de)construction which they manipulated to submit to rhythm. Informed by industrial innovators Einstürzende Neubauten\, the post-punk dance of Killing Joke\, and the dub-electro of Cabaret Voltaire\, WHITE HILLS has created a sensually feral\, raw beast collection of songs.
