In a thrilling new chapter for vocalist Julia Lauren Bullock\, guitarist Jake Ohlbaum\, and drummer Rob Bodley\, the Nashville-based power trio expand on the dizzy abandon of their acclaimed 2020 EP Growing Up Is Dead\, harnessing the explosive freedom of punk while endlessly turning out pop-perfect hooks. An up-close look at self-discovery in a chaotic world\, Who Are You Now\, Who Were You Then? ultimately matches its visceral impact with bluntly poetic yet heartfelt lyrics—the type of irreverent truth-telling sure to inspire countless tattoos and recklessly scrawled bedroom graffiti.\nA decidedly DIY-minded band\, The Foxies co-produced Who Are You Now\, Who Were You Then? alongside a revolving lineup of collaborators in Los Angeles and Nashville\, often laying down tracks in their own home studios. In bringing the album to life\, the trio took a cue from pop iconoclasts like Prince and David Bowie and dreamed up a singular sound by alchemizing their eclectic mix of inspirations: new wave and glam-rock\, post-punk and grunge\, left-field hip-hop and the weirder edges of the pop world. Il est composé de Nino (Jah) Fougeron [chant]\, Yann Thébert [guitare rythmique]\, Rémi Andre [batterie]\, Jules Calvet [synthés] et Roman Chouillet [guitare lead].\nLeurs compos sont un mélange de Rock classique avec des melodies pop bien entraînantes avec de grosses influences metalcore et post-hardcore.\nhttps://linktr.ee/TheOneYouLoved \nMIND AFFECT\n(Rock indé – Clamart\, FR)\nFormé initialement en 2015\, Mind Affect est un groupe de Rock parisien se nourrissant de sonorités électroniques\, tout en mêlant des guitares tour à tour ravagées et éthérées\, une batterie fougueuse et une voix ténébreuse.\nLe groupe voit le jour avec la rencontre de Adrien BUKUDJIAN (guitare/chant) et Hugo DEYRIEU (basse/piano) à Crozon en Bretagne lors d’une colonie « Musique Sans Frontières ». La connexion est immédiate. Ils sont ensuite rejoints par Luc NAAMANE à la batterie. Mind Affect entame alors un premier travail de composition avec des morceaux mélodieux et très psyché. Ils composent notamment leur premier titre Music Dangerous Mind Affect d’où ils tireront leur nom de groupe.\nA partir de 2018\, le groupe cherche à faire évoluer leur son. Cela passe notamment par un changement de line up avec le départ du batteur d’origine et l’arrivée de Alan MARION. Petit à petit\, le groupe va laisser de côté leurs inspirations psychés pour laisser place à un rock plus rythmé à la fois bouillonnant et désenchanté inspiré de grands groupes comme Muse ou Royal Blood. Ils exposent alors au grand public leurs nouveaux morceaux en concerts sur la région parisienne. En parallèle\, le groupe enregistre et sort le 30 octobre 2020 son premier opus intitulé « EMMA » avec 12 titres et sort\, dans le même temps\, le clip de la troisième piste de l’album : « Pure ».\nAprès la sortie de « EMMA »\, le groupe a soif de renouveaux et s’oriente vers des sonorités plus actuelles et électroniques notamment influencé par Coldplay ou Twenty One Pilots. Ils décident de changer leurs méthodes de composition notamment en s’isolant tous les trois pendant plusieurs semaines en résidence et en s’entourant de diverses personnalités de la scène musicale française.
