DESCRIPTION:Voyage dans les vapeurs réverbératrices au fin fond d’un rêve Lynchien\, à la croisée du Shoegaze et de la dream pop\, bienvenue à la Vapour Trail. \n \nTHE DEATH OF POP\n(Shoegaze – Londres\, UK)\nBrothers Angus James and Oliver James formed The Death Of Pop on the South-Coast of England in 2013. Their home-produced songs reflected the dismal summers and repulsive sea breeze of a forgotten seaside wonderland; recreating these thoughts through a broken mirror of 90’s shoegaze\, 80’s new wave\, paisley underground and sunshine pop. Since their formation\, the band have worked with Art is Hard Records\, Too Pure\, Hidden Bay and Spanish label Discos De Kirlian. Seven years on\, and with over 50+ songs released on albums\, compilation and EPs\, the band have continued to self-produce\, giving them the luxury of time and experimentation. Analogue keyboards and Tascam tape machines feature heavily\, from which their sound benefits hugely. The Death of Pop creates a charming middle ground between contemporary and nostalgia\, prolifically and consistently maintaining their original ethos of sonic exploration in melodic pop songwriting.\nLes 3 Influences : Stereolab\, New Order\, The Cure\nhttps://thedeathofpop.bandcamp.com\nhttps://www.youtube.com/@TheDeathOfPopMusic \nCOMING UP ROSES\n(Alt indie rock – Londres\, UK)\nHailing from the island nation of Singapore\, London-based alternative rock band Coming Up\nRoses forge a sound that is distinctively familiar – yet you can’t quite put your finger on.\nLed by singer-bassist Emily Sera\, the group has emerged as one of the most promising acts out of Southeast Asia owing to their dynamic live shows and heartfelt lyrical themes. In addition to tours in Taiwan and Indonesia\, the band have played festivals such as Canadian Music Week\, Fred Perry Subculture and The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions. To date\, the band has released 2 EPs\, debut effort Waters (2018) and sophomore EP Everything Is (2022).\nDespite the bittersweet nature of leaving their lives behind in Singapore\, Coming Up Roses are ready to embark on their new adventure.\nLes 3 influences : Wolf Alice\, The Cranberries\, Alvvays\nhttps://cominguprosessg.bandcamp.com/\nhttps://www.youtube.com/c/cominguprosessg \nMIDSCALE\n(Shoegaze – Paris\, FR)\nAdepte de mélodies distordues et d’arpèges planants\, de murs de son massifs et de dissonances noisy\, Midscale est un quatuor de rock 90’s/shoegaze formé en 2021 à Paris. Gabrielle (basse)\, Sébastien (batterie)\, Valentin (guitare) et Yohann (chant/guitare) se sont rencontrés autour de leur passion commune pour le mariage de la reverb et de la fuzz\, commençant par rendre hommage aux icônes du genre avant de s’engager dans des voies plus aventureuses. Première sortie du groupe\, l’EP éponyme de 2022 est ainsi inspiré par des noms cultes comme Slowdive et DIIV. Quelques mois après\, la sortie du single Dean présage d’un virage plus sombre et incisif que de nouveaux morceaux viennent confirmer sur scène par la suite. Chaque performance est l’occasion pour les quatre musiciens d’amplifier sons et émotions au plus fort.
