DESCRIPTION:  \n▬ Le Supersonic présente ▬ \n  \n▬▬▬ CONCERT EVENEMENT ▬▬▬ \n→ LENE LOVICH BAND\n(Legend 80s Wave Post-Punk – UK) \nNée à Detroit\, la légende du #postpunk pop\, Lene Lovich\, a pris la tête des charts aux Royaume Unis avec sa chanson « Lucky Number » en 1979. Elle fut couronnée en tant que « Reine du bizarre » et son influence s’est répandue à travers toute une génération d’artistes alternatifs et pop\, de Nina Hagen à Boy George\, en passant par Madonna et les Dresden Dolls. \nLene Lovich s’est retirée de la scène après la sortie de son troisième album ‘No Man’s Land’\, suite à de nombreuses disputes avec sa maison des disques à propos de son refus de compromettre son style esthétique et visionnaire pour la chaine MTV qui venait tout juste d’émerger. \nSon style vocal\, son esthétique originale\, ses compositions inoubliables ont exercé une grande influence sur la culture pop. Lene est un peu une Kate Bush « après avoir pris du LSD » ou une « Maria Callas Nouvelle Vague ». Ses hits « Lucky Number »\, « Say When »\, « Bird Song » et « New Toy » continuent a passer regulièrement dans les clubs et radios du monde entier. \nEn 2012\, à l’occasion d’une célébration de la musique du compositeur allemand Kurt Weill\, Lene a commencé à collaborer avec Jude Rawlins\, le chanteur du groupe Subterraneans. The group signed to Some Bizarre Records when the song « Tidal Flow » was picked up to feature on the Some Bizarre Album. It was the same album that saw the first tracks by Depeche Mode\, Soft Cell\, The The and Blancmange. Their song was selected as track 1 on the fish side and they went on to have their second release produced by Martin Hannett at Strawberry Studios. During this period he also worked with Mike Hedges at his Playground Studio. Morgan decided to put focus back on his music as a direct result of working and touring with Lene Lovich. In 2015 he started to write his first album as a solo artist “Grains & Grams whilst visiting Belgium\, then decided to move there and start recording in 2016. For production he teamed up with Italian producer Giulio Gaietto and the album was released September the same year.
