Previously\, Dinh was bassist/singer in Australian indie rock band Little Red before stepping out as frontman in Moonlover. He records alone usually\, at night\, under dim lighting\, in winter.\nIn 2008\, he released Thou Shall Be Free\, a self-recorded DIY psychedelic\, garage album\, filled with romance\, sweetness and a fair dose of psychedelic energy.\nCome 2022\, new album Shangri-La\, expanded the colour palette quite dramatically.
