En fait\, la légende du groupe basé à Ellicott City\, dans le Maryland\, signé par Hopeless Records au cours de leur dernière année de lycée en 2007 n’a grandi qu’en leur absence. Les fans ont tatoué les mots du chanteur/bassiste AJ Perdomo sur leur peau. Les groupes ont inscrit leurs noms dans les titres de chansons de Dangerous Summer. Ils n’ont jamais fait irruption dans le grand public\, mais pour un public underground enragé\, The Dangerous Summer était un phénomène\nPerdomo\, le guitariste Matt Kennedy a commencé leur deuxième chapitre avec la sortie de leur album éponyme en 2018\, leur premier en quatre ans et une année de tournée non-stop. Ranimant leur amour et leur détermination à faire des spectacles\, à être sur la route et à écrire de la musique\, The Dangerous Summer n’a pas voulu perdre une minute et est retourné en studio pour enregistrer son album de suivi\, Mother Nature. They released their debut full-length “The Long Dark Blue” earlier this month via End Hits Records.\n“The Long Dark Blue” comes with 13 tracks that are loud and slightly obnoxious and melodic all at once. It’s a sound they do well. Something you find out right away when opening track “Hold My Head” bursts out of the speakers. “Punk-Rock Messed You Up\, Kid” is another scorcher\, while “Never Clean My Room” is a little easier on the ears.
