DESCRIPTION:▬ Le Supersonic présente ▬ \n \n▬▬▬ ENTREE LIBRE JUSQU’A 23H ▬▬▬▬ \n→ The Frights\n(Epitaph Records – San Diego\, USA) \n« A couple of months after graduating from high school\, Mikey Carnevale (vocals/guitar) and Richard Dotson (bass) got together as The Frights to play a one off 30 minute set as sort of a joke. The feeling they got from the crowd in their hometown of San Diego inspired them to become a « real » band almost in spite of themselves. Along the way\, they recruited Marc Finn (drums) and released You Are Going To Hate This (produced by Zac Carper of FIDLAR) in February 2016. Jordan Clark (guitar) added to the band’s musical prowess in the ensuing year of touring around North America. Leur musique tout droit sortie des 90’s\, mi- Surf grunge\, mi- Pop punk\, en fait un groupe un peu loser et anachronique qui porte sur lui une coolitude intemporelle. « Meilleur groupe des années 90 que j’ai entendu depuis les années 2000 » d’après Arthur de J.C.Satàn\, AVIONS c’est surtout mélodie imparable sur mélodie imparable\, avec une dose de sucre suffisante pour couler une usine Coca-Cola et l’énergie d’un concert de hardcore. Après 6 ans de LPs et d’EPs passés sous le radar\, ils sortent en janvier 2017 leur premier album bien enregistré\, Loner\, avec l’espoir de conquérir la France puis le Monde.
